The right has spent decades building political infrastructure and influence in the Midwest that has led to electoral and policy victories. Research has demonstrated that there are paths to progressive wins, and they hinge on building a multiracial power base. This panel will examine successful strategies to build multiracial progressive power in the Midwest, including how to build lasting progressive infrastructure that grows the base. More broadly, this panel will explore what it means to bring donors and organizers together as collaborators and co-strategists and why that work is essential to any durable wins.
